Iseli Energy warrants the Iseli Energy series photovoltaic mono crystalline and poly-crystalline modules to be free from defects in material and workmanship under standard application, installation and use for one hundred and forty-four (144) months from the date of sale to the original purchaser. If the module fails to comply with this warranty within the one hundred and forty-four (144) months from the date of sale, Iseli Energy will, under its sole discretion, repair or replace the module, or refund the purchase price.

Claims under the warranty shall only be accounted receivable if the buyer can prove the malfunction proceeds exclusively from defective materials and/or labour. This warranty does not cover failure of the module due to improper application or installation, or due to special conditions of use unknown to Iseli Energy.

The charges for removing the defective module and costs for returning the module to Iseli Energy facilities or any of our representative, and charges for reinstalling of the product shall be covered by the purchaser party.

This warranty will only apply while the original purchaser owns the module.

Power Degradation:

1. For all glass-Tedlar® modules rated at 80W and up, but except for use in marine application or in tropical or equatorial environment:

If, within twenty-five (25) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser, any module has a power output less than 80% of the minimum power specified at the time of the delivery, as measured at Iseli Energy in any case, confirms that such loss in power is determined by Iseli Energy at its sole discretion, caused by defects in materials or workmanship, Iseli Energy will replace such loss in power by either providing to the buyer additional modules to make up total wattage loss, at a cost pro-rated for the time in service of the faulty module, or by repairing or replacing the module, under Iseli Energy’s discretion.

2. For glass-Tedlar® rated at 80W and up:

If, within ten (10) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser, any module has a power output less than 90% of the minimum power specified at time of delivery, as measured at Iseli Energy in any case, providing that such loss in power is determined by Iseli Energy, at its sole discretion, to be due to defects in materials or workmanship, Iseli will replace such such loss in power by either providing to the buyer additional modules to make up total wattage loss, at a cost pro-rated for the time in service of the faulty module, or by repairing or replacing the module, under Iseli Energy’s discretion.

3. For glass-Tedlar® rated below 80W:

If, within five (5) years from the date of sale to the original purchaser, any module has a power output less than 90% of the minimum power specified at time of delivery, as measured at Iseli Energy in any case, providing that such loss in power is determined by Iseli Energy, at its sole discretion, to be due to defects in materials or workmanship, Iseli will replace such such loss in power by either providing to the buyer additional modules to make up total wattage loss, at a cost pro-rated for the time in service of the faulty module, or by repairing or replacing the module, under Iseli Energy’s discretion.

Repair or replacement shall be the sole and exclusive remedy provided under this warranty and shall not extend beyond the periods set forth herein.

Under no circumstance shall Iseli Energy be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages, however caused.

This warranty will only apply while the original purchaser owns the module.

Exclusion of Warranty Applications:

This warranty does not apply to any modules which, in Iseli Energy’s sole judgement, has been subjected to misuse, or has been damaged through abuse, alteration, improper installation or application or negligence in use, storage, transportation or handling, or has been repaired by anyone other than Iseli Energy.

The following defects do not apply:

• Defects caused by parts, devices, and system components such as output cable, inverter, etc.
• Defects caused by writing work, defective installation work or by defective handling during such work.
• Defects caused by use under inappropriate methods which do not conform to the product specifications, operation instruction manuals.
• Defects caused by inappropriate maintenance and control, cracking of the glass by external shock, flying objects and external stress.
• Defects caused by other impact like dirt on front glass, smoke pollution, salt damage, other pollution, acid rains, etc.
• Defects caused by natural forces, acts of nature and other unforeseen circumstances beyond Iseli Energy’s control such as without limitation, earthquakes, typhoons, hurricanes, tornados, volcanic action, floods, tidal waves, lightening, snow damage, etc.

This warranty is expressly in lieu of and excludes all other express or implied warranties including, but not limited to, the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and all other obligations or liabilities on the part of Iseli Energy, unless such warranties, obligations or liabilities are expressly agreed to in writing by Iseli Energy.

Iseli Energy aggregate liability, if any, in damages or otherwise, shall not exceed the payment received by Iseli Energy for the specific module.

IN case of any part of the terms and conditions set out above is held invalid, void, or unenforceable due to any particular national or international legislation, it shall not affect the other parts of the terms and conditions remaining.

Warranty Performance

If you feel you have a claim covered by the warranty, you must immediately notify the sales agent from whom you purchased. The agent will proceed to inform you on the steps to undertake further on. In case of unattended claims, please contact Iseli Energy.

The Iseli Energy’s depot will not accept any module without prior written return authorization.
